            Who is protected by this policy?

This policy applies to the processing of personal data of our current and ex customers, prospects, suppliers, commercial contacts or persons interested in our products.

            What personal data are we processing?

 

The following personal data may be collected and processed according the relation we have with you:

  • Identification information such as name, first name, address, telephone and/or fax number, e-mail address, vat number, website.
  • Information relating to your purchasing of goods or services offered by our company.

We can also collect information about you by third parties, such as Public Authorities, credit insurance companies, public websites or social media and relationships of the company (customers, suppliers, …).

Pluto processes your personal data for various purposes, whereby we only process the data that are necessary to achieve the intended purpose.  For example:

  • the follow-up of your order;
  • the follow-up and processing of complaints and returns;
  • the general administration of customers and suppliers.

The processing of your personal data is also necessary to accomplish our statutory obligations. For example:

  • the bookkeeping of your account;
  • the legal declarations;
  • the administration of disagreements and legal procedures;
  • the recovery or transmission of claims and the protection of our rights in general.

Your personal data can be used in the general of direct marketing towards you.  Pluto will always aim for a balance between our legitimate interest and your privacy.  For example:

Pluto N.V. doesn’t sell personal data to any third parties.

They can be shared to our subcontractors if necessary in the same purposes as those stated within this policy.

  • transport companies;
  • subcontractors of the production;
  • credit reference agents.

Your personal data will not be transmitted out of the European Area.

            How long are we keeping your personal data?

 

By law, we are not allowed to store personal data for longer than is necessary to achieve the purpose for which we collected it.  The retention period can therefore be different according to the processing activity. For example : the coordinates of your credit card are immediately destroyed after registration of the collecting.

You are entitled to review and to request the rectification or erasure (“right to be forgotten”) of your personal data.

Furthermore, you are entitled to object to the use of your personal data by our company.

At last, you have the right to exercise your right to data portability.  This means that, after your request, your personal data available in a computer file can be send to you or somebody else, indicated by you.
